Bawaslu Kabupaten Kubu Raya gelar upacara peringati hari pahlawan 10 November 2023. Upacara yang diselenggarakan di lapangan Sekretariat Bawaslu Kabupaten Kubu Raya. sebagai tindak lanjut atas surat edaran Bawaslu Republik Indonesia Nomor 48 tahun 2023.

Upacara yang bertemakan Semangat Pahlawan Untuk Masa Depan Bangsa dalam Memerangi Kemiskinan dan Kebodohan dipimpin langsung oleh Anggota/Koordiv. Pencegahan, Prisipasi Masyarakat dan Hubungan Masyarakat (P2H) Gustiar. Upacara yang diikuti oleh segenap pimpinan dan sekretariat Bawaslu Kabupaten Kubu Raya juga diikuti oleh jajaran Panwaslu Kecamatan.

Semangat dan pengorbanan pahlawan-pahlawan masa lalu adalah sumber inspirasi berharga. Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) mengartikan Pahlawan sebagai orang yang menonjol karena keberanian dan pengorbanannya dalam membela kebenaran atau pejuang yang gagah berani. Perjuangan hari ini tidak dibatasi hanya perjuangan dengan mengangkat senjata. Kini, makna perjuangan mencakup segala upaya melawan kemiskinan musuh kita bersama dan segala upaya dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan.

Hari Pahlawan ke-78 ini, diperingati dengan mengusung tema “Semangat Pahlawan untuk Masa Depan Bangsa dalam Memerangi Kemiskinan dan Kebodohan”.

Tema ini diangkat melalui renungan yang mendalam untuk menjawab ancaman penjajahan modern yang kian nyata, Mengingat kita merupakan pasar yang besar dan dikaruniai begitu banyak sumber daya alam yang luar biasa seperti tanah yang subur, hasil laut yang melimpah, kandungan bumi yang menyimpan beragam mineral.

Inilah tantangan yang sesungguhnya bagi generasi penerus untuk mengelola kekayaan alam dan juga potensi penduduk Indonesia bagi kejayaan Bangsa dan Negara.

Ancaman dan tantangan ini akan kita taklukkan berbekal semangat yang sama seperti dicontohkan para pejuang 10 November 1945. Tidak mudah memang, tapi pasti bisa. Karena Pahlawan Bangsa telah mengajarkan kita nilai-nilai perjuangan. Nilai yang jika kita ikuti niscaya membawa jejak kemenangan.

Pahlawan adalah orang yang menonjol karena keberanian dan pengorbanannya dalam membela kebenaran serta mengutamakan kepentingan Bangsa dan Negara di atas kepentingan kelompok dan atau diri sendiri.

Para Pahlawan telah mengajarkan kepada kita bahwa: kita bukan bangsa pecundang. Kita tidak akan pernah rela untuk bersimpuh dan menyerah kalah. Sebesar apapun ancaman dan tantangan akan kita hadapi.

Dengan tangan mengepal dan dada menggelora. Dengan hanya berbekal bambu runcing, para Pahlawan dalam Pertempuran 10 November menghadapi musuh yang merupakan Pemenang Perang Dunia dengan persenjataan terbaiknya. Rakyat bergandeng tangan dengan para Tokoh Masyarakat dan Pemuka Agama berikut pengikutnya, bersama laskar-laskar pemuda dan pejuang dari seantero Nusantara, semuanya melebur menjadi satu. Merdeka atau Mati!.

Bersyukur saat ini, semangat untuk berantas kebodohan dan perangi kemiskinan dapat dilihat dan dirasakan denyutnya di seluruh pelosok Negeri.

Semangat yang berasal dari nilai perjuangan Pahlawan Bangsa di tahun 1945. Semangat yang membawa kita menolak kalah dan menyerah pada keadaan. Menyatukan kita dalam upaya mewujudkan kehidupan kebangsaan yang bersatu, berdaulat, adil dan makmur. Serta memajukan kesejahteraan umum dan mencerdaskan kehidupan bangsa. Mewujudkan masa depan yang lebih baik.

Selamat Hari Pahlawan tahun 2023. Marilah kita panjatkan doa bagi para Pahlawan yang telah gugur mendahului kita.
